[EN] Today we took the trip "Pyramids & Nile in Style". First, we went by bus from Alexandria to Cairo. This takes about 3 hours on an excellent road. The first stop was on the Giza Plateau where the Great Pyramids are located. We stopped between the two great pyramids; next stop was in a place from which all pyramids were seen and the final stop was by the Sphinx. Next, we took a boat ride on the Nile that included lunch and a show. From there we went to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. The last stop was at the Papyrus Institute and at a gift shop. This was a very long trip - we left at about 8 am and returned at 9.30 pm. Our 42nd wedding anniversary was today.
[PL] Dzisiaj pojechaliśmy na wycieczkę "Zwiedzanie Piramid i Nilu w Stylu". Z Aleksandrii do Kairu pojechaliśmy autobusem, co zajmuje około 3 godzin po dobrej drodze. Najpierw zatrzymaliśmy się w Gizie, gdzie znajdują się piramidy. Stanęliśmy pomiędzy wielkimi piramidami, potem pojechaliśmy w miejsce, skąd było widać wszystkie 3 wielkie piramidy i wreszcie pojechaliśmy zobaczyć Sfinksa. Po zwiedzeniu piramid pojechaliśmy do centrum Kairu gdzie czekał na nas luksusowy statek. Podczas przejażdżki po Nilu podano nam obiad i zabawiano nas występami. Następnie pojechaliśmy do Cytadeli Saladyna i alabastrowego meczetu Mohameda Ali. Ostatnim przystankiem był Papirus Institute i sklep z pamiątkami. To była długa wycieczka: od 8 do 21:30. Dzisiaj była także nasza 42 rocznica ślubu.
