My nephew and I did an overnight backpacking trip in the San Jacinto Wilderness. After setting up camp and filtering some water near Skunk Cabbage Meadow, we hiked to the Tahquitz Peak Lookout, 8828' (2691 m). The lookout is the oldest standing in California and operates as a museum staffed by volunteers during the day. The next morning he and I returned to the trailhead at Humber Park and had an early lunch at Arriba Mexican Restaurant across from the Forest Service Ranger Station in Idyllwild, California. The Pork Green Chili Burrito was quite possibly the best I've ever tasted. I failed to initialize the tracker for our return trip so that data is not included.
