Built around the manor house of the Knights Hospitaliers of St John who held the manor from 1236
Most of it was superseded. Wings were added for Henry VIII. The main block was built for William & Mary by Sir Christopher Wren who worked on it into his 80s .
Works of art
The free and informal bit of Hampton Court gardens
Bushy Park mistletoe
More of the same
Probably commissioned by Charles I for Somerset House but may be Arethusa

A cup of tea costs £1.55
Walking through the Woodland Garden
Amazing roots
Built for Charles II's keepter of the Middle Park. William IV lived there; also his mistress and 10 children.
Looks like something from outer space. The first lab was in Bushy House.
The park was originallyt put together for Cardinal Wolsey. About 125 red and 200 fallow deer.
I think they are homes for ants
