Nice ride out of Andorra into France. Weather great so far...

Waterproofs, my arse? They did a great job of letting water in but not out. The weather from here onwards through France was truly biblical. I needed a boat rather than a bike.

Not a chance of catching the Roscoff to Plymouth ferry. Had to negotiate a transfer from Caen to Portsmouth at 11pm. Can relax from now, not too much as weather, though quite good at this point, does not hold, and gets worse than ever, on way to Caen

Please sort your pathetic Car Ferry signs. They are so very small. Hence the circles I am going in.

What a star. The only other biker on the ferry. He was Spanish, living in Windsor, of 2 years and riding a very old Norton. And I thought I had it bad with the weather!

Dry feet at last

Carnage in the shower!

Just looking forward to nice warm shower into dry clothes, then the bloody shower fell off the hook, glancing me a blow down below...no photos here.

Also, soaked my nice dry clothes, though my pants were safe at least. Gone past caring by this stage.
