Not everything goes as planned, and this ride is a good example of that. My plan was to visit Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. However, I had an extraordinary amount of trouble finding the ferry crossings. I ended up following an unplanned course through the countryside.
Most of it was very nice, relatively flat riding through various agricultural areas and small towns. As you can see from the pictures, it rained for a good portion of the trip; however, it never rained so heavily as to constitute any sort of a problem. Of the places visited on this trip, Yangzhou looked quite interesting and I feel will be quite worthy of a return trip.
This trip was largely a shakedown for my new bicycle, as seen in the pictures. It performed well but needs a little bit of tinkering to get dialed in right.
